It has been a wonderful second year at Accel Physical Therapy with more growth as we continue to provide exceptional patient care in the greater Brunswick and Midcoast community.
We have added another full-time physical therapist, Pam Ford, who joined us in January of 2019. All staff are now trained and certified in vestibular rehabilitation and modern strength training (blood flow restriction training). We continue to provide the community with the latest, greatest, and most evidence-based treatment approaches in physical therapy. This is in addition to dry needling, spinal manipulation, corrective exercise, instrument assisted tissue mobilization, balance training, sports rehabilitation, and much more!
As the schedule has continued to grow, we have added more help in the front office. Katie Pothier has joined Jordan Drouin as a medical receptionist. We continue to live up to our promise of providing the best patient experience in the community and the feedback from our patients and the local providers has been excellent. In a short two years, we have had our name go from “who” to “the PT place on the old base, those guys are awesome!” From the pediatric patient, to the high school athlete, middle-aged weekend warrior, and active aging individual, we continue to provide the best in physical therapy for all.
What the future holds:
In the coming year we look forward to continuing to grow the name and brand of Accel PT in the Midcoast region. There will be more clinical training for all staff on the best treatment approaches in physical therapy. Hillary Jackson plans to become certified as a clinical instructor through the American Physical Therapy Association. This will set us up for accepting physical therapy students by 2020 and give back to many of the wonderful institutions that helped educate and train our staff. We look forward to giving back to the wonderful profession and helping to educate the future physical therapy minds. Accel PT will be looking to grow its clinical staff as the need to provide excellent PT continues to expand our practice.
Thoughts from the team:
“Working at Accel PT brings me so much joy! I love helping all of our patients with their individual needs so they can conquer their injuries/conditions. Our case load has become so much more diverse with all of the different conditions we are now treating. This clinic pushes all of its physical therapists to continue learning the latest techniques and treatments so we can continue providing the very best care to our patients. I love coming to work with such outstanding coworkers and truly feel that Accel PT is becoming a valued part of the greater Brunswick community. I am very proud to work at a clinic/business that has grown so much in just two short years!” — Hillary
